If Christianity is the true religion, which denomination is the right one?
Historically, Jewish Christianity turned into Nicene Christianity, which lead to the formation of the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox, and various Protestant denominations as time went on.
To date there are over 47,000 denominations and subgroups of Christianity, all claiming to be the true, right version of Christianity. So which one is right?
Is it the Catholics who do the sacraments and close to 2,000 years of tradition?
Is it the Orthodoxy churches the follows patriarchy and rejects that the Pope is the head figure and boss in charge of ALL churches and the single authority?
Is it the Protestant branches that formed in the 16th century that focus on the bible only?
The Baptists that believe you must be baptized and it must be full immersion?
How about the Anabaptists that reject childhood baptism?
The Amish? The Hutterites? The Mennonites?
The Pentecostals that believe in spiritual gifts, lively worship and the work of the holy spirit?
The Methodists who focus on outreach and holiness?
Lutherans who focus on faith alone for Salvation?
The Jewish faith, in comparison only has FOUR main denominations, and some smaller subsects that are recent crop ups, totaling around 8-9 denominations/types total.
Islam, has two main branches, and two smaller ones, with subsects within each branch.
Could it be that no one in the Christian faith has an actual idea?
