If a game goes from being fun to being a chore, is it worth playing still?
I've always asked myself this because I love video games. I love long campaigns. I love MMOS. I love that MMOs can have 10+ years of life and still be kicking.
But if a game feels like a chore, and the people on it make it feel like even more of a chore, is it worth playing?
I've been playing a mobile game on my phone and I love the visuals, I've gotten to make friends with new people, but a game isn't a game without people. And people make or break a game.
Lately on the game, it's always dramatic, its always a resource dump contest. It's always the same people breaking the unwritten rules that everyone agrees to. I hate feeling like this when I could be doing something better with my time.
